anyone have any experience of using one of these to put disc brakes on an old (Spesh P3) frame? £30 is quite steep if they are a bit shonky.

    are they any good?

can anyone describe how it fits, i cant tell from the pictures.

thanks to sjscycles for their piccy.

Requires a “flat” dropout without too many lumps. Possible file/other bits handy.
    It’s possible. It’s not pretty.

I’ve got one on my CX bike and it works fine though it needed some judicious modification/filing to fit properly.

It’s worth looking second hand though – I got mine for £15

I have seen people do that with a jubilee clip on the A2Z but I don’t think it’s really necessary

i had one back in the day on my turner.

was alright. bit of a rough bodge imo, but it worked.

They work just fine if the dropout is a “plate”
otherwise bodging needed – clubber’s is a work of art

I had one. As above, with a bit of cutting and filing to fit it worked very well.
