If that was a blue light on top, then I’d be aroused. Orange though just doesn’t do it for me.

    Mine would be:

Audi RS6 for all the family stuff
Toyota 2000GT for some good old-fashioned fun
VW T5 Sportline day van (long wheelbase) for family/biking trips requiring space over speed and other lugging duties.

Maserati Quattroporte for posh outings and driving down to the yacht in Biarritz, that kind of thing.
One of them estate BMW M5s for bike/kids/dogs/general tootling about.
    Caterham R600 for weekend hoons.

Back in the real world, I think we do fine with the Jeep and the Batmobile.

    In an ideal world?

But in the real world, I’ll stick with the Doblo.
Nearly as practical as the ‘mog.
Nearly as much fun as the Bristol.
Nearly as ugly individual as the DS. 😀

    performs like a ‘warm’ hatch

If your definition of warm is a 1990s 1.6L Escort, then perhaps 🙄

I was thinking much the same 🙂

Well, it has 190bhp and more importantly something ridiculous like 440nm of torque. Obviously it’s heavy so takes some shifting off the line, but goes ok. Anyway it’s not all about that, it’s always going to have its haters. For me, it’s just about the most practical all round vehicle I could get with a lot of comforts too. Also great for towing my caravan (without getting stuck anywhere). Great on muddy work sites too.

    B.A.Nana – ignoring the computer (which lies). If I hoof it – 28mpg, steady – 34mpg, average -30/31mpg.

Really? I’m sorted then. Just got to get the rust treated. In all seriousness, it does me just fine and on my budget is about perfect.

    In the unreal world
    1) VW T5VR6 LWB for bike duties
    2) Ferrari 288GTO (why has no-one mentioned this already?)
    3) Bowler Wildcat
    .
If any of those are unavilable I would be happy with an Integrale Evo3 or a Metro 6R4. (how often does an Austin Metro appear on a list of dream cars?)

    1) BMW 330D Touring.
    2) Arial Atom for utter hooliganism.
    3) Landrover Defender Ambulance for camping and tackling the forthcoming revolution.

Assuming the wife can keep her car and the 3 new ones would be for me. Also assuming that money really is no issue, I would have the following.

    1. Fully loaded Disco for bike stuff and off road fun.
    2. BMW M5 Touring for family stuff.
    3. Probably a Ferrari FF but maybe a McLaren MP4-12C for fun.

I’m going to be cheeky and add a winterised Renault Clio to leave at my chalet in the Alps.

Hyundai i30 estate for bike duties

    911 Carerra 4

and one these for the holidays

currently got a knackered 11 year old Primera that refuses to die and a Fiat Bravo which has got quite possibly the most shizzer JTDM engine in.

in an ideal world, where i am absolutely minted i’d have…
    Audi RS6 saloon
    BMW M5 Touring
    Maserati Quattroporte

asked wifey and she said its only fair that she also had 3 cars to do it all…but she could only think of one car she wanted…it’d be a shame not to fill the two remaining spaces for her…
