We did this pages ago, as you are well aware. You decided to throw in the examples of "forced" and it was addressed at the time.
Funny, I've just skipped back through nine pages to check and as I didn't "well know" anything of the sort, and the only concession I can find from you is this little en passant:
I just couldn't respect anyone who (without being forced) sells the goods.
So just so as we're clear, as I've obviously missed where you addressed the issue, in your opinion is someone forced into the sex trade a slag?
In wreckers defence.
This whole revisiting of the english language & who gets to decide if a word is pejorative ?
Do we republish the O.E.D. every monday, with the the latest redactions, that some people have had emotional baggage attached to.
If Kim Jong Un were telling his subjects, to stop using certain words we would all point and s****, at the bad dictator.
It's a bit Orwellian (1984) IMHO.
On a lighter note, what if your not happy with the service?
What happens? Discount or do you politely tip and leave the room quietly?

Page 4, in response to PMJ.
So just for clarity, in your opinion is someone forced into the sex trade a slag?
No, they would be a slave. As I (and others) said on page 4, choice is key, and I wouldn't compare someone who is on the game to avoid a student debt or wants a new sofa with someone forced into slavery (I think you know this but points for the suggestiveness of the question).
Ladies & Gentlemen, is it time to close the thread?
It's becoming very ad hominem, rather than addressing the issues. Some of the posts make uncomfortable reading.

Oh man, you should definitely NOT check out the rest of the internet!
Yeah, how many of you lot would bonk rich potentially reasonably attractive women for 1K an hour.
(opens nuts and beer. waits...) 🙂

You can pay 1.49 and ... oh .... no ... I mean just not read it?
In wreckers defence.
Brave.
who gets to decide if a word is pejorative ?
I'd say the people it's used against, is that fair?
Do we republish the O.E.D. every monday, with the the latest redactions, that some people have had emotional baggage attached to.
If by 'some people' you feminism as a whole then no. Once a year is sufficient.
If Kim Jong Un were telling his subjects, to stop using certain words we would all point and s****, at the bad dictator.

Oh, okay then you ni**er loving fa**ot. Oh, I'm sorry, did that offend, are you going to dictate that I stop using those words? Why's that then?
No, they would be a slave. As I said on page 4, choice is key, and I wouldn't compare someone who is on the game to avoid a student debt or wants a new sofa with someone forced into slavery (I think you know this but points for the suggestiveness of the question).
Right, I did miss that.
So can we agree then that your blanket statements on the preceding pages where you did exactly that (eg, "A prostitute is a whore, or a slag or a slut. That's just the way it is.") were rash generalisations and, in fact wildly inaccurate?
And can you perhaps understand now why people took exception to them?
Suppose a person is confined to a wheelchair, and can neither get out to meet others, nor pleasure himself. A person is paid to perform that service. Is this person worthy of the disgust and pejorative names bandied about on this thread?

I'll ask again as my question was ignored.
What about the girls who work in countries where prostitution is legal?
Girls who do a days work (or night),not forced into it by some pimp, pay their taxes and health insurance.
What about their morality? Doing nothing wrong apart from earning an honest living.
How do you feel about them?
Wrecker, and only wrecker.
Could you please answer this question?
who gets to decide if a word is pejorative ?
Fortunately we don't need the OED, as wrecker himself provided definitions on page 2 so that there was no chance we could misunderstand him. We're not redefining anything.
Slag = promiscuous woman
Slut = A woman who has many sexual partners
Whore = A prostitute
Lawyers, Politicians, Drug Dealers, H&S Managers, Recruitment Consultants, Cleaners, Bankers and Estate Agents are all professionals.
As are Prostitutes.
All attract some form of negative thoughts and derogatory descriptive language. I see no reason if this is acceptable for the first lot, why Prostitutes should be exempt.
OP- you may smell another man or worse still the smell of a another man's porridge.
And Hora wins the internet (and owes me a new keyboard).
Hora...
OP- I'll leave this topic with a closing thought for you. You posted such a topic, state her age and it comes across almost like you are showing off/just want congratulations then take it the wrong way when others disagree. You state I post 'nonsense' however you cant listen or take onboard what others say to you.
Eh no...I stated her age only as you seemed to imply that there was something 'seedy' when I mentioned she was an attractive younger woman 14 years my junior. I was keen to pint out she was 26...the age gap is more than acceptable
Secondly I have welcomed the responses on here...I disagree with many of the opinions posted but haven't been offended by them in the slightest. What I do object to is people insulting me (as you did) when they have no knowledge of me whatsoever. Read my posts on this thread. You are the only person I've taken issue with.
I'd be interested if anyone else on here thought I was showing off? If I wanted to show off under the anonyimity of the internet why on earth would I post 'would you date a call girl'..think about it...its not exactly a claim to fame is it.
I think it's bang out of order to compare prositutes to with lawyers or politicians.
were rash generalisations and, in fact wildly inaccurate?
I'll concede that I was in a bad mood, and didn't like the person I was squabbling with, not that it's an excuse. It's certainly not fair to term sex slaves as prostitutes (or slags etc), as it's wrong. In my mind, they are rape victims. In mitigation (if there is any), that was not where the conversation was at and had I considered it, I would not have typed that.
And can you perhaps understand now why people took exception to them?
Of course! It's an emotive subject, and I have used some words that are toxic.
wrecker himself provided definitions on page 2
Where do you think I got the definitions from?
@ squirell king Firstly sorry for not getting your point [ and taking so long to reply]
Or is it really that superficial?
Probably you just get moral revulsion but I am not sure I would call it superficial but i am not sure what the correct word is.
Some folk thing sex is special and therefore not for sale I guess.
its odd we can sell our brawn , we can sell our brains for money - almost always to do things we would not do if we were not paid but sex is an no no area.
not sure I can explain why folk feel like this but, not that it will be likely to happen, i would not be a prostitute. there are plenty of other jobs I would not do either though.
I think it's bang out of order to compare prositutes to with lawyers or politicians.
Indeed only journalists are as bad as those two and I agree that is unfair on prostitutes.
so now we're all friends again...
Wrecker, can i assume your answer to the OP is no?
😉
its odd we can sell our brawn , we can sell our brains for money
speak for yourself.. I have tried without success on many occasion

Re: "you ni**er loving fa**ot. Oh, I'm sorry, did that offend".
Well actually no it didn't.
In the same way I respect Stephen Hawking and don't respect Nigel Farage. These words really mean nothing to me coming from you.
Funnily enough, if you were to use those words in places where they carry the impact you intend, I imagine you would find yourself removed from the gene-pool quite quickly 🙂
What I do object to is people insulting me
Yet you asked opinions of the internet then get offended when you are told something you don't like to hear/an opinion.
Wrecker, can i assume your answer to the OP is no?
😀
Doesn't mean that I don't think you should. If you're OK with it rand you think she'll make you happy then do it.
I'm quite aware that I'm a prude.
To the OP - If you like her, are comfortable with the notion of what she does for a job, and shes attractive then why not?
Life's too short to worry about much else, So she's a call girl, in my mind there are far worse jobs out there (someone mentioned lawyers / polititians...) You're not going to marry her, not going to change her career, and so long as you're going in with your eyes open give it a go.
Yet you asked opinions of the internet then get offended when you are told something you don't like to hear/an opinion.
340 posts..I've taken offence at one of them - Yours. Lets just leave it there shall we.
Fine- open fire with your rifle, expect a shelling back.
Doesn't mean that I don't think you should. If you're OK with it rand you think she'll make you happy then do it.
I think the internet has given you its blessing, OP. 😉
Fine- open fire with your rifle, expect a shelling back
Is that a euphemism?
Fine- fire your rifle, expect a shelling back.
Given the thread, is that a euphemism?
Edit: beaten to it. Again, possibly a euphemism.
Says pumpmaster jizz.
Is there going to be a happy ending to this thread?
Is there going to be a happy ending to this thread?
I hope so, I love a happy ending. I think I'm going to celebrate with coke and hookers 😀
when I mentioned she was an attractive younger woman 14 years my junior. I was keen to pint out she was 26...
So if it was sold to me as 'would I be interested in some grown-up fun with a hot 20-something girl, who has a shady background, and probably a few issues that come with it' then the answer is probably yes... Here for a good time, not for a long time and all that...
It doesn't have to lead to marriage does it?
Is there going to be a happy ending to this thread?
probably a happy finish for someone 😈
That was the joke, yes. (-:
At uni, I went out with a girl who did hardcore porn- not the same thing but still sex for money. And some of the work was basically a client and a camera, so not much different. It didn't work out, my fault entirely, she had a lot of secrets and even though it was totally understandable, I was a kid though and a bit too black and white for it to work out. TBH I was kind of a dick about it and with hindsight I wish I could have done better by us both, it was her choice and she was at peace with it so why wasn't I?
Anyway... Things generally aren't simple between people, it'd probably be difficult at first but everything is difficult at first.
I think the internet has given you its blessing, OP.
Woah - not yet!
Now we're all friends again, i think we need pics before we can finally judge if it's OK. Or a link to her webpage.
Actually, shortly after I met my wife we were a bit cash strapped and she went on the game briefly to make ends meet. The first night she came back with £123. 'Who gave you £3?' i asked. 'Why, they all did'
Pics? What's the point in that when we can just hire her for an STW "demo day" and then give proper feedback?
In the same way I respect Stephen Hawking and don't respect Nigel Farage. These words really mean nothing to me coming from you.Funnily enough, if you were to use those words in places where they carry the impact you intend, I imagine you would find yourself removed from the gene-pool quite quickly
I imagine I would. My point wasn't really to offend but point out the ridiculousness of your statement, words like **** and faggot are wholly unnacceptable as dictated by the people they offend. Why then is it okay to use words like slut, skank, whore etc. to offend another group and then make a roundabout godwins law reference to defend it?
Anyway, this seems to have thankfully reached a conclusion so I'll leave it here, I think we all have better things to be doing as no more can really be said.
go for it! YOLO dude 😉 too many serious-righteous people here
To directly answer the OPs initial question. No, I wouldn't or couldn't make it work.
There are lots of unanswered questions that someone else, who was undecided, would need to be clear on to make their choice.
Examples would be: does she have a "normal job" as well or is this her way of making a living?
Could you trust her to not do an occasional nights work to cover an unexpected shortfall? Would you be OK with that?
Is she living a lifestyle that could be replicated by a "normal" job and more so would she be happy living a normal life?
As someone else said are you going to be happy with the cosy onesie and a cuddly night when she could put on the old career wardrobe? Is she then in "work mode"? How much of your relationship will be real or acted out? I'm assuming she's acting when at work?
Too many questions for me, so no.
i think we need pics before we can finally judge if it's OK. Or a link to her webpage.
She posted pics, but they were removed quite quickly.
And her website needs you to sign up. Er, I imagine.
^ ?
I think he means the OP's interest rather than Sten.
