Just using new laptop with Windows Vista... being lazy and asking here rather than searching help. I can't seem to add shortcuts to the desktop using favourites. When I click send to desktop as shortcut...nothing happens... any ideas? Never used Vista before but this is already irritating.

Thanks in advance.

You just right click and choose 'Create shortcut'.

Simples.

Have you hidden your desktop icons?
