Fed up with poor pictures from smartphone (iphone3) so looking for a small digital camera. Any suggestions?

That's a pretty wide open field. What is important? Image quality, size, robustness, price? I generally like Panasonic Lumix cameras. The TZ range are good all rounders

I really like my Sony WX80, not enough lag to annoy you, nice enough images, very pocket friendly doddle to use. WiFi picture transfer to the PC is also handy
Currys doing them with a card and case for £125 I think.
