Went up to the local mountain boarding place yesterday with some mates and all our kids. Had a fantastic time plus I got to go snowboarding for the first time in 11 years (yeah...... thanks kids) - briliant.
Up early this morning and got a 5 hour ride in the snow. Just wish I hadn't given up alcohol for January as a big glass of red in front of the fire would just about top it off.

Yesterday was ace - XC skiing plus a bit of sbowboarding in the sunshine on the hills above Hayfield.
Not so good today - I tried to go riding and failed miserably, the snow up on the tops had drifted to >1m in places and it was mostly just unrideable. Really windy as well. It was snowing on the tops, it's just kind of sleety down in the town though.
