I'm on hols in Wales at the mo and am pondering the likelihood on catching a glimpse of some of the cars between stages. I can't go to any of the forest stages for various reasons but would at least like to see some of the cars. We're in Snowdonia (Ffestiniog) and I see there's stuff on near Dolgellau on Saturday. Anybody clued up enough to give me a clue where/when I might see them on the road?
PS I know all about the ceremonial start at Colwyn Bay tonight but that's out for us, sadly.

Look on the map for the road to link each stage.
Be somewhere at least a few hours before the stage starts.

next to the Toyota engine factory at deeside, is where there garage base is, lots of huge well equiped pop up garageres built and free entry, bike display team and lots to see, just down the a55.
Festiniog area does seem to be attractive to bike recycling agents.
I'm just wondering for what depraved reasons MrSparkle is banned from forests...

Just stand by any roadside & watch any generic 1.6 'shopping' hatchbacks pass by. Just the same as today's 'rally' cars imho.
