Belfast today …..a brief interlude sandwiched between the rain
Just a heads up as I’m sure you’ll appreciate it… a great article on legendary war photographer Don McCullen on what he considers to be the best work of his long career.
We were lucky enough to go to a retrospective of his work a few years ago at the Imperial War Museum, with all his most iconic shots on huge light boxes. It was silent in there, such was the impact of the shots. People were walking out of there in tears (including me and Mrs Binners). Pride of place was a letter to the MOD from Margaret Thatcherissuing instructions that under no circumstances was McCullin to be allowed anywhere near the Galklands during the conflict
Little production line making shelf supports from reclaimed pallet wood, for more storage in the shed.

The Bybrook’s* showing the benefit of the rain we’ve had recently, which is no bad thing.
*The same river that flows through Castle Combe.

Cheers! It’s Loch Lomond / Ben Lomond from a 7am walk earlier today.
Went out to the kitchen this afternoon, looked out to see if there were any visitors to the feeders, and lo, and indeed behold, this was checking out what was on the menu…

😄🥰
Indoor climbing wall??
Former fire station? Tower for hauling up hoses to dry out.

That’s two 10’s and a 9. 😎 Shooting indoors we only shoot three arrows per end, whereas it’s six outdoors.
