Things that still give you a childish thrill

You should come down to my place (on a line between Biggin Hill and Beachy Head) Spitfires fly past several times a day in the summer.  It's actually possible to become desensitised to them!

live (and work) right next to waddington air base so we see the red arrows practising most days.  so yes, its entirely possible to become desensitised to what most people would pay good money to see.
