Spent last weekend in a v cheap tent getting battered by 25mph winds. I need a simple but stronger tent that will accomodate a double mattress and some space for clothes etc (3/4 person?) for a bit of camping abroad this summer. It's to be transported by car. Was thinking of having a look at Decathlon's tents on the way back from the Peaks this weekend. Budget up to c.£150. Any informed opinion/recommendations would be gratefully received.

We have an Outwell Oregon 5. Now discontinued - One available on ebay at the moment. Outwell make some great tents.

http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/carolina-s-p149880 This is quite big,and will easily take a double mattress in the sleeping area, with room for a small table, and 2 chairs in the living area. The sheffield Gooutdoors is less than 1/2 mile from the Decathlon.
IanP.S Sorry, budget didn't register, but worth spending the extra for the comfort IMO

Gelert Nemesis tents are good value, picked up an 8 man under your budget recently, more room than the Go outdoors offerings, easy to put up.

Prices seem to have increased last few weeks though.

Here's the 6 man version. http://www.skiwear4less.com/acatalog/Nemesis_6_Tent.html
