https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234402155764?

Absolutely bonkers what bargains you can occasionally come across on a random google for stuff.

Even the normal price is cheap! Can't beat dowsil 785, in my opinion.

They must be losing money, there's no way you can ship something that heavy for a pound even as a volume seller.

I think it will. I can confidently say you'll never get a flat if you fill your tyres with it!

Description says "BEST BEFORE DATE SURPASSED QA CHECK: PASS", whatever that means and zooming in on the picture It looks like it says 2022 and 2023 on it. I'm sure it's fine for use immediately but silicone doesn't last forever so I'd be wary or buying some to stick on the shelf and use one day. For a quid it's a worth a go though

Good point. I was needing one anyway so I have broken even. Any others that are still OK to use when the time comes are free.

I see they are up to £4 now.

Mine arrived this morning. Made 6/23, use by 6/24 so a just out of date but fine for a little while yet.

Used mine today and it’s cured fine. Apologies for not pointing out the date thing in OP, I didn’t realise.

Still, a quid delivered by parcelforce 24!

It should be fine if it is still liquid. It is moisture cured (hydrolysis, condensation). It goes off over time because you can't make and package it 100% dry. But it is normally mixed and packaged under dry nitrogen so is fine if sealed in original container.

In any case it doesn't go off in an instant. Shelf life is an estimate. If 12 months is offers it would normally be tested much longer so it can be guaranteed to the customer.

My guess is that it is old stock they want rid of so sold it cheap. It's that or pay to dispose of it as industrial waste.
