I saw texas at the barrowlands many moons ago on 23 dec 19??. It was some sort of glasgow homecoming / xmas bash supported by gun, but some of del amitri appeared on stage too. Superb night, texas used to turn up in fat sams in dundee quite regularly too way back...

no it wouldn't, would completely agree iainc.

Have been a huge fan since first hearing Hearthammer when it was released as a single from The Big Wheel. They are massively better live with Bruce than with Donnie.

The Nyah Ferties 'Barassie beach' all time classic track, they were a bit local, Ayrshire based I think.

Much better than Deacon Blue, they were a load of pish, dignity my ass!

Marillion weren't Scottish, they just had a Scottish singer, same with Ultravox. Neither had a 'Scottish' sound either!

Fish (ex Marillion) is still gigging.

I met Gun last year, fronted at the time by Toby Jepson of Little Angels fame. Great bunch of guys, Dante's off his rocker, Toby's shorter than you think.
