Ive nearly come to the point where I get to paint my new workshop floor.

Its fresh smooth concrete, it's had 30 days to cure, what should I use?

I've read that "1 part epoxy paint" (which isn't strictly paint) is loads better than normal floor paint, but can't find any suppliers. or am I ok going with a good brand name floor paint? Any horror stories?

It looks like we have a new forum librarian. Does STW use Dewey Decimal or BISAC?

Pretty much, yes.  Happliy posts links to threads from 8 years ago, ignoring the fact that they are that old.

Which is it - garage or workshop? The point of epoxy 'garage' paint is that it doesn't get lifted off by car tyres - it does that by having a stronger bond to the concrete but also by being very slick and smooth.

If its for a workshop... have you ever thought to yourself "what I need now is a more slippery, slidey floor" ?

For a workshop 'floor paint' is all you need.

I'd also recommend Carpet instead of paint too - we re did the floors in the house and laid the old underlay & carpet in the garage. Much warmer underfoot (when getting changed for turbo work) & more comfortable underfoot when working in the garage.

Possible hijack - I had my floor ground polished and sealed (part of the ongoing garage build project) but there are a few dints in it here and there (2-3mm deep, nothing bigger than a 10p piece. What would be best to fill these? Epoxy?
