I’ve a few ‘things’ with 3.5mm jack out, but not BT...
I’ve some nice speakers in the lounge that DO have 3.5mm jack IN, and also Bluetooth...
Rather than run a cable several M through the lounge, anyone able to recommend a little battery powered Bluetooth transmitter thingy??
Anazon and the web are chockablock with them... don’t want to play ‘Chinese electronic roulette’ really...
Suggestions appreciated, ta!

I had a similar situation and bought the following from Amazon
TaoTronics TT-BA07 Bluetooth 4.1 Transmitter and Receiver with aptX Low Latency & 3.5mm Audio Jack
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016UF7J5C
£25 very small and can transmit and receive. Was v easy to set up and has been faultless in 2 years of use. Battery doesn't last a huge amount of time - many hours but not many days, and I hook it up to a small power bank that lasts many weeks.
I recommended it to someone at work who now has them all over his house both receiving for a HiFi and transmitting to BT headphones.
A bargain and highly recommended.

Depends what your budget is, and what your expectations are with regard to sound quality. Tried a few of the cheaper ones for Bluetooth connection to my car - they worked but audio quality wasn't great. I would look at the ones that have a decent DAC - I settled on an Arcam Mini Blink (and happy with it) but there are quite a few that are aimed more at the home audio market.
I’ve used this cheap one from Amazon for the echo and ordered another for the Cricket Club to connect it up for when we have do’s there, syncs to people iPhones. Works perfectly fine.
