Started today.

They are selling a rather fine selection of beers from the following breweries - Barney's, Deeside, Broughton, Innis & Gunn, Caledonian, Cairngorm, Harviestoun, Colonsay, Inveralmond, Kelburn, Strathaven, Williams Brothers, The Isle of Arran Brewery, Tryst, Traditional Scottish Ales and Sulwath. Fron roughly £1.30 to £1.80/ bottle.

Scottish stores only.

Cannae complain at that. My beer store is full.

Lidl had several offers of 8 bottles for £8 the other day including Brains SA, Brains Dark, Brains Revd James, Jennings Cumberland, plus some Wychwood brewery and Shepards Neame brews.

They'd also got Marstons Pedigree for £1.20 per bottle

You need to be careful with those Sheperd Neame ones. Whilst I'm fairly partial to a drop of Spitfire - itself on offer in Sainsbury's for a princely £1 a bottle right now - some of those "seasonal" brews of theirs that crop up in LiDL from time to time at £8 for 8 bottles are vile.

That Warlock's Brew one that's on at the moment, for example. Rank rotten. And then you've got 8 bottles of the stuff to get through. 😥

Interesting, last time I was in Morrisons the beer was not cheap.

I need to get homebrewing again. And stop drinking quite so much.
