Does it go off over time? I've got an old Garelli Tiger Cross moped thats been stored and only started up occasionally to make sure now't seizes up.
But I wondered if I might be damaging something by using the old premix petrol that's in the tank.

Yes it can go off
Empty the tank & carb, then turn it over a few times with the plug out
That is chuffing lush, 😀 I never use 2 stroke over a month old. Only mix 5 litres at a time for the Beta.
What a machine..takes me right back. Flush the tank and carb and make fresh mix. I love the smell of 2-stroke in the morning..etc..
Also make sure the two stroke oil is designed for a AIR cooled engine,or you will start having major engine trouble.
If your not sure whats in the tank i would drain and refill.
I raced bikes years ago and learned the hard and expensive way!!
