[Closed] OT Michael Jackson is dead!

Such a shame. He was a bit weird but I find everyone throwing the peado accusations around are a bit distasteful. Whether you think it or not (and you have no way of knowing as you have not been privvy to real evidence, but you could be right) it was never proven and spouting it as he dies really isnt too nice for his family. Music was amazing, but recently has gone a bit odd.

His music was, initially, incredible and latterly unlistenable.
I found his strange transformation from black->white fascinating. A troubled character for sure, never understood. His legacy in music will live on though.

Returning to the OP, it's kind of sad, but his music really dropped off after Thriller. All those wierd noises he made, the sort of coughing noise, used to really get on my t*ts, to the extent I just couldn't listen to his music at all. Before that, he was a good singer and songwriter. I just hope he wasn't on the loo when he had his coronary, like Elvis. That's a s**t way to go.

Well, for me I feel sad at his passing because although as a person he had serious issues, nevertheless he wrote, sang and performed fantastic songs which will live on and were a part of my youth. RIP MJ

He as a person had no impact on me worthy of remorse or care for his departure, i always find it bizzare that people respond in such a way that that will be these coming weeks to someone they never knew.......

Death has never had a big impact on me, only the once....

I was reminded of the hurt i went through then just a couple days ago, 10 yrs ago this november i lost someone i only knew for just 6mths and spent just 15mins with her, the 5mins she was alive for were spent with doctors, we watched her last half gasp....

I'll never care or mourn for people i've never met, never spoken for or don't know, but that's me.....

If people choose to be upset by the death of someone, whomever they are then let them.

You don't need to watch the news, read the papers or get involved in the conversations about it...turn over the tv or switch it off, put down that paper that you read and criticise it's every word.

Instead. Go ride your bike, spend time with your kids, go lead YOUR life...
