OK, so there is live cycling on BBC2 tonight
we are part way through the digital tv switchover, and lost BBC2 today
I've just retuned the freeview tuner thingy, and have lost BBC1 and 2
BBC1's ok, as we still have it on analogue – has anyone got any ideas on how I can get BBC2 back on digital before mrT gets home?

Sorry, no idea.
I guess he'll just have to watch you rather than Vicky this evening 😉

Delete all channels. Switch it off. Switch it on again. Retune.

It maybe that your box will not work after the switchover for certain channels. My folks lost BBC 1 and 2 permanently from their box following the South West switchover last year - only option was to buy a more up-to-date box and all was sweetness-and-light again.

Road Cycling?

Buy a tin of cheap watery paint, paint it on the screen and sit him in front of the telly for a few hours.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've tried the switch on/off/reset but doesn't work.
We're thinking of upgrading the telly/recorder etc anyway, so I guess it'll have to be sooner rather than later!

Every so often we lose some of our channels (normally C4 and E4) after a few hours a retune brings them back... All hope may not be lost - as unhelpful as it sounds - just leave it a while and try to retune again...

My channels came back for a bit & went again.

I tried looking on the digital switch over info & I should be fine, even STW couldnt give me a definative answer, so in the end I went with the cable & digibox - at least there are some fairly decent deals out there

Have a look to see it hasn't moved to something like ch 600

They sometimes do that temporarily whilst shuffling the frequencies around
