Well it's taking me 4 years plus to try and finish a Yamaha SR250 based scrambler,  so in a moment of madness I ordered this. Passed my Mod 2 last Wednesday and picked this up form Bill Smiths in Chester on Saturday.

Now to get some miles on it  and soak up this sun  🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Nice, should be a great bike to actually learn to ride on (took me 5k post test to say I could ride rather than pass the minimum standards to be allowed on the road).

i looked at one of these at the start of the year myself, but I don’t have anywhere to store it and they ain’t cheap! Kinda wishing I had now (what with the weather).

hope you enjoy it .

You are spot on metalheart, it’s a bit daunting riding it at the moment, i’m hoping some more miles will make it less so.

It does seem nice a pleasant to ride, if a bit heavier than the MT-07 I did my DAS on.

Nice bike, I had the t100 bonneville version a few years ago and put wider off road bars on it and a mesh headlamp guard on it. Nice handling and comfy. Took mine around the Nurburgring. Wish I’d never sold it and a triumph may well be my next Bike

Nice!

Your leg might be all right but I wouldn’t want to try throwovers on it!

No, the Chorley/Preston area, so not too far away

Nice one, I have the earlier 900 Scrambler, great bike like the new one, but haven't ridden one, but a friend has the new T100 and loves it.

Just take it easy and get used to the bike and riding on the road.

Don't get drawn in to any silly riding, ride at a pace you're comfortable with.

Cracking looking bike. Those pipes look impractical when seated but I'm sure they must work just fine

I miss my Triumph, though I love my current bike

I really like those.  Looks like you can take it for some light green laneing too.

its good that its daunting, keeps you on your toes.

Ride within your limits, take a look at the Police motorcycle Roadcraft book, you'll get there soon enough. Just treat it with due caution and respect, you'll be fine 🙂 as I said, it took me 5k to reckon I knew what I was doing but 1k will get you comfortable enough I'd say.

Your choice of bike sets you up for this well (imho obvs).

Nice bike, ride safely. Just out of interest where did you do your training?  Im looking for somewhere in that area.

As well liking the look of the bike, the decision did have some influence by it being reviewed as a very good first bike.

Liam Bradley training in Chorley, there are in the Yamaha centre on Eaves lane

and I'll get right on it as soon as I get home spacemonkey       😉
