It is free this weekend so we thought of having a look with the kids.

Good or Bobbins?

We went a few years ago when there was a Dr Who exhibition on too. Good for an hour or two but no more really. If it's free you can expect to queue a while to get in. Combine it with a ferry ride -or just go to the World Museum instead.

Ferry isn't operating, hence the freeness.

Theres also the river of light on saturday night, 3 barges on the mersey full of fireworks and lots of street entertainmnet all day, its all free to watch and join in http://www.cultureliverpool.co.uk/river-of-light-home/

The ferries are broken at the moment, but the sub is free to view at Woodside, best to arrive early, eithe a 41 from m53 or Junction 1 from m53. Also its on from New brighton to Woodside and the liverpool side as well, expect huge crowds, and lots of early road closures, then chaos as everyone leave at 6 .30

also a big fire work display at Birkenhead park on sunday free again, plenty of parking nearby.

We're going on Sunday morning. We'll have a look at the submarines too. Thanks for the tip off.
