To all designer/publisher types.
I need to print some reasonably high quality proofs at home that will be up to A3 in size.
Can anyone recommend a Mac friendly printer that will do the job and not break the bank.
Thanks
Dave
Anyone?
I use an A3 Epson 1290 for proof printing, but it's an inkjet of course so only good for rough stuff, and still not cheap. Catridges were about £90 for the pair last time I bought them, and they go off if not regularly used. Thank god for PDFs, printers can be a bit of a liability - only really worth the hassle and expense if you get a lot of use out of them.
To be honest, if it's not something you'll regularly be doing, the cheapest way is to get them done at your friendly local printers for a few quid.
