No, it's my new Jack Russell, Spud

In the 4 hours I've had him he's been ace. I have forgiven him for puking on issue 1 of Privateer. He has volunteered to drag me out running in the sub-zero mornings.....

Excellent, you found one - he looks mint, and his review of the mag may not be too wrong given the price .... 😉

That more like a Parsons Russel . Cracking dogs and run for ages .

Naughty Bastids that are selective deaf

Had to chase for 5 fields when ours spooked a Hare and set off after it .

Yeah it is a Parsons, thought I'd said - been trying to find one for ages. Had one before. Scruffy, cheeky, disobedient, energetic, defiant, yet butter wouldn't melt - dogs and their owners eh....

One day in and it's all good. I wasn't expecting to get him yesterday so was a bit lacking in accoutrements. He has shredded his temporary blanket and elected to sleep on my leather armchair. Slept all night, no whines or barks, well house trained and we had a nice tramp in the snow this morning. Good with other digs and people. He lacks the recall thing, so not off the lead just yet. I have turned into a soppy big idiot.

I'm not a dog person either but if I did have to have one, they're the kind I'd have, no question.

Looks like he'll be a character, but those terriers always are. Making me miss mine 🙁
Maddy.
