Enjoyed a swig from a mates hipflask when snowboarding, cannot remember if Rum or Port, lush whatever. Not something I'd ever do, but going away Jam for a weekend skiing and thought a purchase was in order.
Any recommendations for flask and contents 🙂

I like drinking nice-ish whiskey (or whisky) at home but never got on with it in a hip flask.
Captain Morgans Spiced turned out to be a good call for post CX race 'warming up' as it didn't seem to taste funny or make the flask gungy if a bit was left in it.

Flask was an ebay job for a few quid - did the job and didn't leak.

On the snow, sloe gin is my favourite. I'm the same as tiim, never really got on with Whisky in a hip flask.
Although my new plastic pouch type hip "flask" might change that.

Mix of port and brandy is pretty good, a bit left field but Waitrose have a special offer on this stuff called the Kings Ginger, a bit like a ginger flavoured Jagermister. Better than it sounds!

You can make this yourself by mixing vodka and washing up liquid.

Amaretto / disaronno - like alcoholic energy gel! Otherwise Kings Ginger is a very good shout, one of the golden rums with honey, or sloe gin.

On Sunday's Xmas ride, I had black Sambuca in one flask, Lamb's Navy rum in the other.

Sloe gin or damson vodka for me.
Normally a whisky drinker but out of a hip flask it seems a bit harsh.

Rosebank, Ardbeg Corryvreckan, Jura Superstition, Lagavulin distillers edition, or even Highland Park. Though not much of that Rosebank left ;(

I use my STW subscribers flask for Stans. Just the right size for a trip away where a tyre change might be in order.

Either Tequila or Hypoid 90.
Hypoid 90 is cheaper but tastes the same. (I have actually tasted both)

Or a nice malt which for me is ANY malt.
