My wife and I have a game 'Who deed?' - whoever finds out first will ask (if in person) or text, and the other guesses with clues if necessary.

When she said that florists would be stocking up on gladioli for the floral tributes, my immediate thought was good riddance to that overbloated old racist. But apparently it's not Morrissey.

RIP Sir Les His humour does make the more woke me squirm a bit nowadays, but I'll admit he did make me laugh too.

Being proper old I remember him from the Barry Mckenzie strip in Private Eye. And the crap films.

Ah yes, curry as an aphrodisiac.

Loved Sir Les. this seems appropriate for a cycling forum.

That is brilliant, thanks. I have already passed it on to about half a dozen contacts including my cycling club WhatsApp group 😄👍

I remember sitting around the telly as a family in the early 80s watching Dame Edna. Hadn’t a clue what was going on as I was way too young, but loved it all the same.

Flying back home today. Perhaps get a tin of salad and aim to start a “chain chunder”

One of the most naturally funny people on the planet.

It was a sad day when Dame Edna's bridesmaid passed away.
