Can anyone recommend a decent pub doing good food around the Wymondham area?

A few miles t'other side of Norwich is the Recruiting Sargeant in Horstead/Coltishall, which as it happens is not too far from chez Slack.
As for Wymondham, can't help at the mo but could make some enquiries.

The Bird in Hand at Wreningham 5 minutes from Wymondham, or Sugar Beat at Swainsthorpe, about 20 minutes away from Wymondham...

The Chinese opposite the Church in Attleborough is good but I can't remember it's name!
