I have been a glutton the last few days. I have demolished roast chicken, roast pork, BBQd ribs, lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs, burgers and chips, icecream, cakes, and chocolates and washed it down with gallons of beer. I am ashamed and regretful, but also proud and satisfied at the same time. Now I'm going to take a nap.

Edit: And I forget the bacon and eggs.

For me, it's the desire not to see food going to waste, combined with my wife buying too much for Xmas. Hopefully, I'll get back to my normal level of over-eating next week. (That reminds me: must get a steak pie in)

Wise old saying - do everything in moderation, including moderation. There's no harm in an occasional blowout.

You're on a roll mate, that's almost half of all the deadly sins..... gluttony, pride, and sloth.

Its on a feedback loop isn’t it? The more you eat, the more that needs to be bought!

We've just had our 4 staying here, all in their 30s and not gluttons per se but they've emptied a fridge containing two kin large shops and lots of bottles plus a £90 bar tab in 2 days. At least there's a bit less chance of me larging out on leftovers.

I left my sister's and there were still kilted sausages and stuffing balls in the fridge.

This has never happened to me before!

'kilted sausages and stuffing balls'
I'm assuming this is some kind of sexual delicacy north of the border?

I think After Eight mints are actually slightly toxic. If I eat enough I start feeling really rough.

We had the "orange mint" After Eights. Made me feel rough even quicker

Sorry to disappoint but you will ken them as pigs in blankets.

Not just me then! Doesn't help that I love them and I can smash a whole box in an evening.

Well, I mean after about the first ten it's not love any more just compulsion. I'm a junk food addict.

Don't normally over indulge to the extent of some, but this year I seem to have moderated my moderation somewhat.

Traditional xmas lunch was nice. Although now I look forward to boxing day where my main meal is all leftovers (except for pigs in blankets, cook those fresh).

Hot Turkey, stuffing & pigs in blankets loaded up into a big bread roll with gravy and some roasties and cauliflower cheese on the side. Boxing day lunch of kings right there.

I ate some fruit and a salad yesterday for a bit of balance, but fancied some burgers and chips today. I just ate two bacon-egg-cheeseburgers and chips, washed down with beer. I'm going to waddle off and take a nap. Thing is, why don't they make jumbo sized burger buns so you can just make a big flat fried meat sandwich instead of having to pile it up like a tower or cook two separate burgers to stop it collapsing into a mess?

You’re on a roll mate

I think thats the point of the thread in he's had too many rolls.

Roll on egg, roll on sausage, roll on chicken 😆

you can just make a big flat fried meat sandwich

You should try a Bookies Sandwich.

Two slices of bread toasted, 8oz fillet steak hammered thin , horseradish or mustard, and a big thick slice of beefsteak tomato.
