It's interesting just how many barren shiteholes that look identical there are scattered across the world!

playing the famous places version is a bit easy once youve identified the building and zoomed in on the map 🙂

13,500 with a bit of luck, and despite thinking something in northern Scotland was in New Zealand...

UK version seems desperately hard. Spending most of the time trying to work out if that looks like a Devon hedge or a Kent hedge, and looking at faceless identikit housing estates...

Closest was 17km for me on the UK map.
I recognized the Wye Valley.
I tend to be within 50km or less on the UK map.
The areas are quite distinctive, even the new build estate have their own twist depending on areas (fake Cotswold stone, etc). Geography plus regional traits makes it fairly easy.

The world map is hard though!

23904 on the world map. Getting ones with signs in helps a lot. Got a blank barren wasteland on one and by sheer guesswork got within 20kms of it.

My closest guess was within 3 miles in Florida. Pity some of the other guesses were 7000+km out!

O(n the UK map I got one that was 120m away - rather easy tho as it was a motorway junction just north of stirling that I know well

I got within about 20m of one in France. It was near a railway station, and whilst the main sign was blurred out, you could read some of the others which identified the stretch of line, then some street names were visible so we could pick out the exact junction. Also got pretty close on a fair few in the Wales one.

Had quite a few 25k games. There's even a South East Wales one that I thought would be easier than it was. Only a few I recognised outright.
