The above is the second most popular title on BBC news website.

Now what has it got to do with the Police, and is it acceptable or not to kiss a freind in a pub.

SPD pedals optional.

But Daniel Griffiths, ex-president of the Federation of Licensed Victuallers Associations, said: "If he doesn't like the house rules, don't use the pub."

Mr Griffiths, owner of the Miners Rest in Barnsley, said every pub landlord was free to make in-house rules which show "respect to the rest of the clientele".

So pub landlords can decide that men kissing offends them and therefore ban it? Doesn't seem fair does it?

I would imagine that such a rule would be illegal.

Why would it be illegal ?

I can't see any evidence that someone has been banned for being gay/black/irish/whatever.

If they ban any Oirish people, I'm off down there for a mass hod-carrying-begorrah-bejaysus-diddly-aye-in.

So it is.
