Are you finding them overkill?

I want a neat, self contained, the brighter the better light for some semi-fast (I'm no Pete Steve) riding. Don't want to have to buy one for the lid too. Will I get away with it with a six pack?

I've got one. It's very bright. You don't *need* that much light but it can be very nice. I use it a lot on the lower settings but the high power is very nice for racing.

If it was my money I'd get a Maxx D and a Diablo (or Joystick).

I'd always have a head light personally. Regardless of how bright a light is, it can't look round corners.

I know really I should go for a lid-light too but wanted to avoid it if the six pack throws wide enough to be able to avoid it.

I'll have to rethink. Maybe go for shaggys suggestion. If I've saved enough pennies
