Now that they’ve seen the reality, they are utterly repulsed and have switched to Biden because he comes across as a decent, moderate guy.

I'm enjoying the white house's descent into madness, the last few days' panic has been fascinating...
But this point right now, where the president has a debilitating illness that they've admitted has caused hypoxia, on top of his already terrible physical health, and is taking drugs that have a very substantial risk of causing mental change and imbalance even in the most mentally healthy of individuals... This is way, way past the episode where you invoke the 25th. And where you actually make a huge positive out of it "I am temporarily not able to do the job, so it is my duty as president to hand over the reins to Mike Pence for the next week or two", strong and responsible leadership as set out in the constitution, which supposedly is important. Doctors are saying he's "back" so that right there is the admission that he was gone for a bit.
But in this white house, he could decide he's Krusty the Clown and nobody's going to do anything other than tell him how great he is at clowning. The car trip is so obviously crazy, so the line where someone says "no" is equally obviously way past crazy.
There's governance 101 stuff here. Even the most rapid Trump fan should be thinking about that; not since the Kennedy assassination has any government treated the continuity of power with such contempt, and the paid-up conspiracy theorists especially should be wondering about what would happen if Bill Gates managed to assassinate him and even the newly returned JFK couldn't save him, what would happen next... If in your mind this is the most under threat president in history, the one who's fighting all these powerful invisible enemies and new world orders, you'd kind of want that stuff to be taken care of.
