Going to Denmark with family for holidays soon. Will be based near Vijle not far from Lego land 🙂
Any recommendations of places to visit from folks who have been? Will have bikes and kids so looking at cycles around 15-25 miles each day.
We went cycle touring from the German border across all the southern islands to Copenhagen (trained the last bit) and back last summer with our 2 (4 and 2 years). The islands are great. Aero and Mons are probably the best of the southern islands. Egeskov Castle on Fyn was great for kids. They are very kid orientated. It's great. Back there this year to tour north up Jutland.
Copenhagen is definitely worth experiencing.
