Ok, there's a song out at the mo; Jump in the Pool* by Friendly Fires. Towards the end, it descends into Rio Carnival style drumming, percussion and general party type beats.
There Goes the Fear** by Doves does it too.
Why do it?? It sounds great when it's actually a carnival, but bolted on the end of an indie track it sounds bobbins!!!
Anybody else just feel the need to skip the track as soon as this self-indulgence begins?

What's that Clapton song that goes on and on and on at the end as if it's two songs badly stitched together, and the engineers were too scared to say "Er, Eric, that's enough now, thanks"...
Always hated that.
