right then, all my wiring (complete replacement) is 17th edition with RCDs protecting all circuits so as I understand I don't need supplementary bathroom bonding in this case as long as my MEB is in place.
So... I've got my main bonding attached at the correct place. But, I've temporarily (probably for a few months to a year) got the water main then running in plastic to where the new water main entry point will be. (probably about 7m run). Should I then reinstate the electrical connection using 10mm earthing wire so that the main copper runs in the house are earthed. As it is the main copper runs are effectively insulated from the earth by this plastic run. Or.... does the run of plastic effectively mean that the entire copper run in the house is sufficiently insulated and cannot have a potential difference with any faulty circuits as it isn't grounded (much like if you had a complete plastic pipe installation with copper tails).
