Need a few pointers please. We need a car cover that will protect paintwork etc from sunlight, rain and birdshit.
Breathable, waterproof and preferably tailored to fit a specific make and model please.
Any experiences or recommendations please?

Hatefull things if used out doors long term as it sounds like you want to the wind and rain moves it and flaps it about shagging your paint. If its on you drive id look at one of those thats more like a tent to keep it off the car.

I had a carcoon for a few years
Doesn't touch the car as it's in effect an inflatable tent
Depends where your car is, and how often you're using it
