iPlayer isn't working, stating that I need to download Flash Player.

It might be that the download is defaulting to the 64bit download, but you could require the 32bit.

have you tried installing flash, seeing as thats what its telling you you need to do

Weirdly the Adobe site does a check and says that I don't have it or it isn't enabled yet Internet Explorer says that I do and it is.

Could it be something to do with Regional Variations? Like maybe you need a special version of Adobe if you're in the Borders or something?

Sorted. My Active X setting was wrong. I must have caught it when I was setting the security after I caught my son looking at pictures of a burlesque show Star Wars act.
