I'm trying to sort out the route display. Putting on normal GPX files. On my Edge 800 I get a line on the map to follow. On the Dakota 20 I get a line but also a blue pin marker at every change in direction. Is there anyway to turn them off. When using bikehike there are so many on the route that it oscures what I'm trying to see on the map. Can't see anything in the option on the device that is obvious.

Sounds like you've saved your file as a 'gpx route'
Save it from bikehike as a 'gpx track' and that'll sort it
