The laminate floor in our kitchen has always been pisch. A few soft places and a few bits where it bowed and sank visibly when stood on.
As expected one of the areas is now totally gubbed and has started extruding splinters and making scary noises when you step on it as it sags down.
Having experienced the missus' idea of a cheapish bathroom replacement project, I'm keen to postpone the kitchen rebuild as long as possible so I'm wondering:
Is there any cunning substance that I can inject under the boards to fill the void and hoist the laminate back up into a level position?

I've got a cement syringe but that seems unlikely.

My experience of laminate floors is they are laid floating on some sort of underlay. Mostly because of expansion and contraction with temperature changes.
So I would find a reasonably concealed spot in the floating section and stick a screw or nail through into the floor below.

Do you know what type of floor is under the laminate? Could it be a chipboard floor thats got wet and collapsing?
