Got some bits and pieces of oak and furniture that need sanding..
Mixture of detail and some flat surfaces..
Which STW sander do i need?
I suspect the STW answer is something like a Festool RO125 Rotex Sander. When you find out how much they cost you might want an alternative. Cheap ones are fine IMO. I've got a balck and decker I inherited and it does the job. The paper makes a bigger difference. I also have an AEG cordless multi tool which has a couple of sanding attachments. Handy for tight spots and the cordlessness is useful.
Thanks.. just ended up going for a makita sheet sander
Sorry to be late but a random orbital would have been a much better choice, you dont have to spend the earth either.
Bit late here too. I use a Draper Tri Base which was cheap enough, gets in tight places & has had some hammer!
