At nine o’clock in the evening, you had nothing better to do in your life than start a condescending thread – taking the trouble including a link.

That says far more about you than it does about me.

Condescending? I thought it was complimentary to air your fine work. Or have I missed something?

I guess sands must a very stroppy, moody, hormonal teenage girl. You can't even pay her a compliment without her flying of the handle and screaming "it's all your fault I wish I'd never been born, I think I must be adopted" 🙂

Aaah, the joy of the English language.
One writes "thread killer response" when they mean thread killer-response", the highlighted subject reads "thread-killer response", and gets the hump?

Thanks for the input.

If I am just being oversensitive to the new thread / ‘Thread Killer’ in the title…

What's oversensitive about someone going off at the deep end after being complimented for having a killer response?
Back to the Little Mix albums, me thinks.
This could run.

Maybe mic drop would have been more appropriate than thread killer?

I don't make 'em , I just post 'em.

I prefers the more grammatical correctness version, so I does.

Award accepted

However, personally, I cannot ever recall an instance of ‘Thread Killer’ being used as a positive comment.

To paraphrase Cougar: Every day is a school day

I must admit, I had to read it a few times to realise it meant something else given the context of the post/thread.

Would have been better if it had been:

"... And the best killer response in a thread goes to ..."

...but even that reads wrong.

Rubbish! I'm always very proud to have killed a thread. Means I've had the last word and no-one can think of anything to better it!

Flounced in an argument where she wanted people to stop using the word "bitch" and the rest of the forum responded in predictable fashion. Shame really.
