He was Mr Smooth.
He could also play a darker, meaner character-Bullitt for example
And gave a slice of classy fun to Hustle, but could turn on the real human element when needed, RIP

Shame but good innings. I have fond memories of fancying the pants off Ilya Kuryakin but being about 9 years old not knowing why. 🙂
He was a fabulous actor, I heard the news on the radio earlier and genuinely felt rather sad.
However, he was a very very poorly man.
