Quick question.
To secure the house we want to purchase we had to pay a £1000 deposit direct to the developer. If the sale didn't go through this is fully refundable.
However trying to understand what happens to it if we complete. Do we get it back or does it come off the purchase price? If so how does that work? Asked my estate agent but he has not provided me with the info yet!
