I think this makes sense.
It would change perceptions of motorcycles, bikes, horse riders, walkers and increase awareness of all users on the road.
What's not to like?
Works for me.
Suppose you'd have an issue with physically disabled drivers, though.
Fair point.
i agree... doing mine very shortly!
Always thought that, i remember the first time i rode on a motorbike in the streets amoungst traffic during my CBT i was 5hitting my self. Its amazing who quicky you get used to it, especially when upgrading to a zx-10r.
I have always maintained being a biker makes me a better driver.
I agree! I got my mum to do it and she thinks totally differently while driving now.
So that should help drivers to stop like driving cocks, so what would you plan to do with the bikers who ride like cocks?
Waste of time and money, unless you ride a bike regularly in 5 years' time it'll be forgotten.
So should all motorcyclists sit a driving test?

Darwin's law will take care of this issue

But that's five years of less likehood of accidents in general, so would have already saved lives

Why not? Or at least a sim. The issues of blind spots is worth ramming home, but this is covered in the CBT, and awareness of the lack of sight of a bike is covered extensively in the modern bike training. If we are talking about nirvana, then RSPA or IAM advanced riding should be compulsory too
It would be great if people had to do an intelligence test before anyone was allowed on the road too. But then there'd be only 4 people left on the road. Bill Oddie, Mick Hucknall, Dave Benson Philips and Floella Benjamin. Life would be magnificent.

bring back those light blue 3 wheeler cripple cars. Don't go fast enough to be dangerous and crumple on impact.

I think you will find the vast majority already do drive cars.
I have never ridden with anyone who is a mc only.
