Does anyone else find that Chrome appears to freeze whenever you click a link which loads a PDF file within the browser? I can use the back button to get out of it, but the PDF won't load.

I have to 'right click > save link as...' to view the file.

I'm on version 16.0.912.75 m

Do you have the built in PDF viewer enabled?
I had the same problem, due to it using Foxit PDF reader plugin which was failing to start.

There is a built in PDF viewer but it seems to be disabled by default on Windows at least. Looky here:
