We will be in touch
Just cooked up some halibut Mrs P bought at the fish shop today, was tasty enough. Then she told me what it blingin cost, £28 a kilo! So we had a £10 fillet each, good lord that's expensive!
Is that an average price for this or was she fleeced?
How big/heavy were those fillets?
You would be better off buying whole rather than filleted as that would be much more expensive.
Yes, halibut is expensive alright.
😯
'twas around 600g of fish...
Sounds quite expensive IMO
Where are you located? If near London try to get to Billingsgate, lots of very cheap fish. We fill up the freezer about once a month.
I have heard Billingsgate is the shiz-niz... It's only a 20 minute bike ride from home so shall have to go check it out. Is it on everyday?
I once knew someone who had a pet halibut called Eric.
.
And someone else who had a pet prawn called Simon.
really? I had a pet goldfish called Fred...
the market is on mon-sat but you have to go early ie0530ish, great deals though and Very fresh fsh!
For 600g that is bleeding expensive. Fish market might be the answer.
