[Closed] What's the capital of urban MTB in the UK?

After a comment on the Philips Park thread that Manchester was becoming the UK's capital of urban MTB, I got all defensive about Sheffield.

Obviously, I think Sheffield is it; Parkwood springs a mile from the centre, the peak district a six mile ride, enough pump tracks to turn your arms into Geoff Capes', and a full range of bike shops all close to the centre.

But is there anywhere else with a better claim?

Smatkins, I've never been, but I've heard its in the woods behind the nationwide.
