hi i have raceface evolve 22/32/44 and want to lose my 44t what size bashgaurd should i use ? have found new e13 @ £20 but they only have 40t will this work ?thanks

it will work - you'll gain a tiny amount of clearence over your 44t ring not nearly as much as fitting the appropriate 32t bash ring though
having said that most folk recommend 22/36/bash for a better spread of gearing in which case you'll need a 36t bash ring and a 36t chainring
