A colleague on my watch is an avid road biker and retires shortly and we are trying to think of a nice high end-ish retirement gift? Thoughts so far are a fancy multi tool, or a swimming pool full of WD40 (he adores the stuff!)
Anyone have any suggestions within a budget of a measly £50-60 ?

If they're keen they'll have most things they want already. The only thing every retiree who spends a lot of time on a bike has consistently had praise for is ibuprofen. Buy them lots of that.

This must be a winner, surely!
High end-ish, £50-60, road cycling (or any cycling come to that). Does not compute. Seems a bit low ball for a retirement gift budget.
The Campag bottle opener sprung to mind but it's way out of your price range. The park tools bog roll holder if they still make them or pizza cutter maybe.
But I prefer Matt's suggestion.
