Can you buy tinted frame saver film or something similar?
I was wondering if you can buy Tinted frame saver film?
I tell you why. Its would look cool on my road bike, it would protect it and it might hide the fact at first glance from a moped that its an expensive Colnago.
We get a lot of bike muggings around here and I quite like solo and solo night rides. Any thoughts?
I've bought clear stuff from wrap direct before as it was fairly good quality film. I'm not sure if they do any tints (beyond window tint film) but they do an awful lot of coloured/metallic/printed films as well as the usual types. So they may have something suitable.
Would window tint film be sufficient?
Unless the frame was gloss black / gloss carbon it would probably look horrible though.
An easier option might be to just get some 'stealth' decals that almost match whatever the frame color is (or match it but in contrasting gloss/matt) and apply them over the (presumably) big white originals.
I’d just buy some dyed bro or similar kits, lots of patterns etc to mask what it is and protect it
