Just tried fitting the end nuts over some 6mm Hope hose and it doesn't fit. The existing Tektro stuff on the bike measures up a little over 5 mm. Anyone tried the 5mm Hope hose or any other brand? Anyone know what works? Don't fancy splashing £22 on a hose kit when £3.50 for a metre of Hope stuff might do it.

I've got an Auriga front brake for sale if it helps? 800mm hose, fully bled in good condition. £25 posted!

Cheers Reluctant but I've already got the brake and it's working fine. This is just for a fork change. GeeWavetree, I'll take you up on that kind offer if you don't mind. Thanks.

GeeWavetree, hose turned up today. I should get to try it out at the weekend but it looks like it will do the job perfectly. Many thanks once again. By the way, Dogs Trust. Hope you approve.

Quick slight hijack on Tektro Aurigas.

Do they take the same pad as shimano deore?

Yes they do, same as Deore 525. Shimano hoses work fine too, worth buying the original pads though, they seem to last aggeesss.
