Can't make it anymore 🙁 ! Good thing really as my asthma is bad at the moment.
Bring a jacket!
Words can't describe how much I've missed riding in the rain.
Are we meeting at the start of the blue trail?
I thought it was by the coloured soundy dome things. Need to make sure we all get the same place!
I'm not sure what or where those are. I've been to swinley a few times but obviously not paying attention in the car park.
These coloured soundy dish things?

That's em. Right out the front of the main centre hut thingy place.
Ok. Never noticed them before but I know where that is. Are we using the buddy system? I'm not sure if I can ride while holding hands.
Have a good ride and play nicely 🙂
I’m out, sorry.
Mrs Kilo has failed a fitness test on her Achilles , next stop knackers yard, so we are out. Apologies
That was a bit moist!
You know you look a bit cold and wet when the OH is waiting at the back door with a towel and the washing machine door open! Those runners looked like they weren't all enjoying themselves quite as much!
Thanks Nath for leading, Ben/Cokie for sweeping and the lift home (hope I got the names right) and everyone else for making the effort despite the weather!
Was good fun thanks guys. I got towelled and changed and then couldn’t find anyone. Meant to say goodbye over a hot chocolate ☕️
Oh dear, another Swinley meet not finished by me! Sorry chaps, wasn't really my fault this time 🙂 Kid was worried about the pace, though I knew he'd be fine once we got moving - if the weather had been better... he definitely hasn't got the gear for that wet & cold and I was worried about him getting too cold. Then he hurt his leg , so it was a good excuse to do a few blues & reds and get back early for cake.
Cheers anyway, maybe next time 🙂
I have no idea who's who here but thanks for the ride everyone. I was the slow one 🙂
I was the single speed fat bike keeping up the niche quotas.

I could have done with a hot drink but was soaked through and getting cold so jumped at the offer of a lift back. Didn't realise quite how cold I was getting till I got home and was struggling with keys!
Cheers guys!
I certainly wasn’t leading though, I was on Weeksy’s bike 😆 Cheers for the tips as we went around, very useful!
CH and I thought you were all going for coffee after getting changed.
Huge thanks to Weeksy for lending me his bike!
Think I will purchase a MTB now 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it Nath. Hope you have it a proper thrashing
Hope you all enjoyed that, I was on the Bird 🙂 . Apologies to Dez , you probably the right call it got quite soggy towards the end, hope your boy is ok. Good effort from all, especially the guy on the Cotic that hadn't ridden for 6 months.
Good christening for a new car ...............
I (obviously) couldn't make it in the end. What's with STW Swinley meets and terrible weather. Shame it wasn't yesterday (when I could ride) as the weather was great and conditions were pretty decent and grippy with a bit of moisture in the ground.
Did you just ride the loop or take in any other trails?

Nill for two on the names then, ahh well. Thanks for the lift!

Red as far as the end of Stickler, then out to Crowthorne, absolutely no off piste was ridden at all, then over to the top of red 15 where there was also no off piste descending done, before doing red 15-25, again a bit of a break where we rode no off-piste, and back on the blue.
So we missed tank traps, seagull and the last bit of the red. And rode nothing that would upset ground nesting birds or rangers.
